Rethinking Custom Solutions
We acquired a company that provided custom software solutions to state agencies. When looking at the solutions we realized that at least 90% of the functionality was similar. My team took on a project to rethink how we provide this functionality, resulting in a new SaaS solution that combines the similarities between each state solution into a shared platform. Major discovery initiatives helped us to uncover what was truly unique between each state so that we can provide configuration options to support those needs, while maintaining a single solution moving forward.
